Hand Art Craft For Kids

Holidays are over, but the fun is still on! Straightforward and entertaining crafts for kids is an excellent way to engage them. I choose activities which don’t take up much time. What are your thoughts if I say all you need to engage your kids is just a little hand?  Curious aren’t you? You could create tons of creative hand art with just your little one’s hand!

Kids would be amazed by how easily they could create animals, monsters, and more with their hands. It also makes for a great parent and child time!

Here is what you need

  • A set of Crayons,
  • lots of paper
  • your little one’s hand!

Take any colored crayons and make your little one draw his/her hand. My daughter who is 23 months was initially hesitant and later on she started to give her had to draw the creations.

Turn the creation upside down and let them color.

Then stick googly eyes to make an octopus hand art! We drew cars, turkey, snail and much more.

We used Klutz hand art to create our artwork. This set had a book with ideas, glue, pompoms and googly eyes to create engaging and entertaining artwork. Instructions were pretty clear in the idea book with lot more ideas.

My son created his own art book by duplicating the ideas from the Klutz hand art idea book. He enjoyed tracing his hands and transforming the shape into all sorts of Animals, real or imaginary. This idea book had handy ideas, and all the essential supplies such as googly eyes, glue, pom-poms, and crayons to make hand tracings.

All these artwork could be used as wall decor’s in your kid’s rooms, art books or as keepsakes! We also used my hand and my kid’s hands to make families of animals.

Did you ever know you could make so many different thins from a hand tracing?
