We need recipes that are quick and that are nutritious. Making easy and simple dishes for kids is a bit of challenge. I started cooking some fun, and simple recipes and I thought why not share it! Here is a simple Multigrain Pulao! It’s super simple to make.
So my maids were coming over, and I had to cook something quick. Well, you know what happens once they come! But when they leave it’s heaven. Well, only for few hours or even minutes! If you are a mama, you know what I am talking about. Yes, the little devils. So I made this pulao approximately in 20 mins or less including cook time.
- Rice 1cup; 1/4 quinoa
- Millet 1/4 cup. ;
- Couscous 1/4 a cup; I used a variety of couscous 1/4 a cup each;
- Cracked wheat; mixed vegetables;
- Soy chunks a cup;
- Spinach and also some kale!
I pressure cooked this dish.
Step 1: Drizzle some oil into a pan or pressure cooker and add some garlic and fry it a bit;
Step2: Add mix veggies, kale, and spinach. Toss them for some time.Then add in all the grains and the right amount of water.Adding the right amount of water is key as it can become too dry or too wet! I usually do One is to One and a half cup. Let’s say rice is one cup water would be 1 1/2 cups.
Step3: Add some salt and pressure cook it!!!! That’s it! All done!
